Deana Holiday Ingraham has been practicing law since 2009. As the 34th Mayor of East Point, Georgia, Attorney Deana Holiday – Ingraham has a proven track record of dedicated public service and community advocacy. Her upbringing instilled in her a passion for innovative problem-solving and leading transformative change for the betterment of others. Mayor Holiday – Ingraham’s core belief that ” service is the rent we pay for our room here on earth” underlines her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those she serves.
Deana received a bachelor degree from Florida A&M University, a masters degree from Nova Southeastern University and a law degree from Howard University. Professionally, Deana is an exceptional attorney who has represented wide range of clients. She has also managed processes in public education, supervised department staff, instructed students in post-secondary education, and owned and managed a small business (law firm). Deana Holiday Ingraham’s dedication extends to her involvement as Co-Chair of the National League of Cities Youth Education and Families Council, her role as President of the Georgia Municipal Black Caucus, and her esteemed membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As a passionate advocate for children, she has held strategic leadership positions in Georgia’s largest school district and currently serves as the Quality Manager for the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network. Deana Holiday – Ingraham and her husband, Willie Ingraham, Jr., are the proud parents of their daughter, Nia.
